Teme Tigers. With Chris Ponsford was filmed on our waters at Clethill

Teme Tigers. With Chris Ponsford Fishing for Barbel on Worcestershires stunning River Teme, this is the first collaboration between, Chris Ponsford, well known all round angler, angling journalist and photographer and Tom Smith, from Original Videos Ltd. Chris, a River Bailiff, who is on the river daily, watching its moods and talking to the anglers and when he is not doing that, he is fishing somewhere, or following his other passion for photography. This DVD was filmed in high summer, daylight conditions, and proved quite tough due to gin clear and extreme low water, which made the normally plentiful Barbel extremely wary, and reluctant to leave the bankside cover and snags. However using some bang up to date and deadly tactics, and a few older ones, Chris was able to catch some lovely, hard fighting "Teme Tigers", the name adopted for these crazy fighting Barbel, for our cameras. Local venues are explained, and illustrated, as are local tackle shops and ticket availability, baits and rigs, safety aspects, and local hostelries and accommodation. This DVD will provide the potential visiting Angler with a comprehensive guide to the delights of Barbel Fishing in the Teme Valley, and by adopting the same tactics, a very good likelihood of catching these manic, hard fighting fish. All tackle including Rods and Reels are illustrated and it is recommended that strong tackle is used, no matter how clear the water is. All in all, a must guide to anyone contemplating a visit.

Well, whilst waiting for the new season to start I got itchy feet and took a walk down the river, on returning I had secured the fishing on another 2 miles of secluded river Teme. This now takes the syndicate to around 4 miles of prime water.
Because of this we will have a couple of places available. For more info please mail me at bill@clethill.co.uk
